O 16° Congresso Mundial de Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos(XVI World Congress of Food Science and Technology)da IUFoST(International Union of Food Science and Technology) de 5 ao 9 de Agosto de 2012,desde 1962 o mais importante congresso científico da área de ciência e tecnologia de alimentos do mundo , acontece a primeira vez na América-latina.

 Foz foi mais uma vez escolhida para mais um congresso de importância mundial,o IUFoST tera representantes de 39 paises e 130 palestrantes com o tema “Focando a segurança alimentar global e o bem-estar através da Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos”( Addressing global food security and wellness through Food Science and Technology) divididas em sessões diversas.Varias empresas estão presentes como Fortitech, Nestlé , editora Elsevier, BRF e a exposição de novos projetos e produtos para o publico do congresso.
A UFPR esta presente como o trabalho da foto debaixo ,a mais importante para mim.

Este congresso internacional irá abordar os problemas globais e atuais da alimentação, discutir possíveis soluções e promover a colaboração e troca de ideias entre a comunidade acadêmica e os setores industrial e governamental.

The 16th World Congress of Food Science and Technology of IUFoST (International Union of Food Science and Technology) of 5 to 9 of August 2012, since 1962 the most important scientific congress of the area science and food technology in the world, it happens the first time in Latin-America.

  Iguassu Falls was again chosen for another congress of world importance, the IUFoST will have representatives from 39 countries and 130 speakers with the theme "Addressing the global food security and wellness through Food Science and Technology" divided into sessions diversas.Many companies are present as Fortitech, Nestle, Elsevier, BRF and exposure of new designs and products to the public of the congress.
The UFPR is present as the work of the photo about cachaça(caipirinha drink), the most important to me.

This international conference will address global problems and current diet, discuss possible solutions and to promote collaboration and exchange of ideas between academia and industry and government sectors.
